Finally, Karan Johar is back to his comfort zone. After trying his hands at serious films like My Name Is Khan and Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna, KJo is bringing back the era of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with his upcoming direction Student Of The Year.
Karan will once again don the director's cap with this film (Student Of The Year) which will launch three newcomers Varun Dhawan (Son of David Dhawan), Alia Bhatt (daughter of Mahesh Bhatt) and Siddharth Malhotra. Supporting the impression that the first look of the films Student Of The Year creates in our mind, the filmmaker said, “Student of the Year will have everything that I love about movies. It will have songs, dances, happiness, fun and frolic all around."
The film is claiming to bring back the era of happy-go-lucky films. "Yes, it's a happy song and dance film with the tone and syntax being that of a holiday outing. Still from emotional energy perspective, the entire team will go all out to make it one super cool young flick."
